CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have made an arrest in the murder of a 22-year-old man in south Charlotte earlier this month.
Police charged Michael Javier Zelaya in the murder of Noel Navarro Hernandez.
Zelaya shot and killed Hernandez at a convenience store off Archdale Drive at Old Pineville Road, according to police.
CMPD did release any information about what led to the shooting.
Zelaya is being held at the Mecklenburg County jail.
