CHARLOTTE, N.C. — American Airlines flight 1895 from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport landed safely Monday after reporting a mechanical problem.
The flight landed in Charlotte at 12:35 p.m. after departing Raleigh at 11:31 a.m., according to flight tracking data.
Emergency personnel were told to prepare after the pilot of the Airbus A321-231 communicated a potential problem with the aircraft's braking system, according to recorded radio communications.
The aircraft made two loops around the Charlotte area before landing at the airport, according to flight tracking data.
The aircraft landed safely and passengers were brought to a gate as scheduled.
American Airlines has not yet returned our request for comment.
