ROCK HILL, S.C. — A child was injured when an apartment in Rock Hill was shot into, according to Rock Hill Police.
Police responded to an apartment at Market Place Apartments on South Heckle Boulevard after reports that someone had fired shots into an apartment.
Once at the scene, officers found the child, who had a minor leg injury. WCNC Charlotte is working to confirm if the child was shot or if the child was injured in another way. The child was treated for the injury and has since been released.
Officers found several bullet holes at the apartment. At this time, police have not released any information about a potential suspect.
