School bus crashes in Uptown Charlotte

Medic said one person was hurt in the crash, Thursday morning.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was hurt in a school bus crash in Uptown Charlotte on Thursday morning, Medic confirmed. 

Students were on board the bus at the time of the crash, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools spokesperson told WCNC Charlotte. 

The crash happened at Hearn Place and Graham Street near 6th Street.

WCNC Charlotte's crew at the scene noticed traffic backups in the area and also saw a cement truck stopped near the scene.
