School bus involved in north Charlotte crash

Emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident involving a school bus Tuesday morning.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident involving a school bus Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. along W.T. Harris Boulevard at Davis Lake Parkway.

Bus number 1479 was headed to University Park Creative Elementary School on Hildebrand Street, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools spokesperson.

There were three students on the bus, but CMS says they were not injured.

One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
