CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person has died after a shooting in north Charlotte Monday evening.
According to Medic, the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. on Monday on Cinnabay Drive near Interstate 485.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified the victim as 37-year-old Daniel Gomez.
An arrest warrant from CMPD identified the suspect as 62-year-old Luis Gonzalez, with the offense of felony manslaughter. He was placed under a $75,000 secured bond.
Gonzalez is now in the custody of Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
