Support small businesses at annual Shop Small Saturday event in South End

This is the 12th year of Shop Small Saturday featuring more than a hundred small business vendors in the Charlotte area.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After finishing up your Black Friday shopping, make sure to stop by South End for the twelfth year of Shop Small Saturday on November 30!

This event is Charlotte's largest open-air pop-up holiday market, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be 120 small business vendors, offering everything from self-care products to jewelry, clothing, coffee, and pet treats.

You can shop at the various vendor booths, as well as inside the brick-and-mortar shops throughout the area.

Shoppers who visit retail stores will also receive a free South End tote bag and have the opportunity to collect stickers to fill out a Shop Small Hero Card.

Brianna Bowers, South End Marketing Coordinator for Center City Partners, says Shop Small Saturday is a great way to connect directly with small business owners who live and work in the community.

"It’s really great to be able to make that personal connection, hear their stories, learn a little bit more about the products they offer, and why they chose to go into the business that they did," Bowers told WCNC Charlotte.

Shop Small Saturday will take place on Camden Road, between Atherton Street and Park Avenue.
