GRANITE FALLS, N.C. — A lottery winner in a North Carolina town beat 1-in-11.6 million odds in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.
A $1 million prize-winning ticket was sold for $2 at a store on Connelly Springs Road in Granite Falls.
The odds of matching numbers on all five white balls are 1 in 11.6 million, according to lottery officials.
Another winning ticket bought at Harris Teeter on Horton Road in Durham brought a $100,000 prize in Saturday’s drawing.
Both North Carolina winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
Monday’s Powerball drawing has a $208 million jackpot. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
