Car slams into South End building, 2 people taken to hospital

It happened at the intersection of West Boulevard and South Tryon Street at the PLS Check Cashers store.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car slammed into a business in South End Charlotte. It's not clear when the crash happened, but a WCNC Charlotte crew saw a tow truck driving off with the car involved early Thursday morning.

It happened at the intersection of West Boulevard and South Tryon Street at the PLS Check Cashers store. 

People at the scene of the crash told WCNC Charlotte the driver plowed through the Bojangles parking lot across the street before ultimately hitting the PLS building.

Two people were taken to the hospital, according to Medic. One person has serious injuries, according to Medic.
