CONCORD, N.C. — The Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Concord will be closed until further notice after it was damaged by a fire on Monday, officials said.
The Concord Fire Department responded to a fire at the Texas Roadhouse on Gateway Lane Northwest around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 19. When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from the roof. A team of 25 firefighters was able to clear the building and get the flames under control in about 15 minutes.
No one was injured during the incident, according to Concord Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Health inspectors were called to the restaurant for an inspection and the Texas Roadhouse is expected to be closed until further notice. Crews from Cabarrus County EMS and the Harrisburg Fire Department also responded to the fire.
Texas Roadhouse is located just off Bruton Smith Boulevard and Interstate 85 in Concord, about 25 miles northeast of Uptown Charlotte.
