CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Donald Trump was spotted watching the Coca-Cola 600 race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 26.
He was watching the race with North Carolina native, Richard Childress, atop Austin Dillon’s pit box.
Charlotte Motor Speedway announced the former president's attendance on May 20.
This is the first time a president has attended a race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, according to a track spokesperson.
However, this isn't the first time Trump has attended a NASCAR race. He attended the 2020 Daytona 500 while in office and circled the track with the presidential motorcade before the green flag.
Trump was last in Charlotte in April, when he attended a private fundraiser. He held a campaign rally in Wilmington after his stop in Charlotte.
