Trump to visit faith leaders in Concord

Former President Donald Trump will join Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson in Concord next Monday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump will visit Concord on Monday, Oct. 21, for a meeting with faith leaders, just a few weeks before the Nov. 5 General Election, his campaign announced.

He will be joined by Eric Trump and Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson. Together, they will meet with leaders during the "11th Hour Faith Leaders Meeting."

The event starts at 7 p.m. No further details have been released by the campaign.

Trump's visit comes after Kamala Harris’ trip to Greenville on Sunday. There, she spoke about the dangers of misinformation coming from her opponent concerning the federal response to Helene in North Carolina.

The presidential candidates have visited North Carolina multiple times in the past few months, hoping to secure the favor of voters in the critical swing state.

The event was originally said to be in Charlotte, but it is now taking place at the Concord Convention Center on John Q. Hammons Drive Northwest.
