CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people went to the hospital with serious injuries after being shot in east Charlotte, Sunday morning, according to Medic.
The shooting happened near where Downs Avenue intersects with The Plaza.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it happened at a retail store, but did not specify which business. There are several businesses along that stretch of The Plaza.
Six people were listed in CMPD's police report as victims, but only two of the six were injured. CMPD has not released any information on a potential suspect at this time.
