Two people in hospital after separate Charlotte shootings

Two people were sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after separate shootings in Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people were sent to the hospital with life-threating injuries after separate shootings overnight in Charlotte, according to Medic.

One person is fighting for their life after being shot on the 600 block of Eastway Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. 

A second shooting, just after midnight, left a person with life-threatening injuries. That shooting happened on the 1900 block of Milton Road.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information about these shootings.
