CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotteans have plenty of options for celebrating St. Patrick's Day this weekend. From Saturday's St. Patrick's Day Parade, to pub crawls and festivals.
There will be multiple road closures for this weekend's events. Here is what you need to know to get around this weekend.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival are Saturday in Uptown. The festival site will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
- The closures for the parade and festival include:
- South Tryon Street between Stonewall Street and West 3rd Street.
- Levine Avenue between South Tryon and South Church Street.
- East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between South College Street and South Tryon Street.
The parade route will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the parade staging area will close at 8 a.m. These closures include:
- North Tryon Street between West 9th Street and East 13th Street.
- East 10th Street between North Church Street and North College Street
