CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Florida man went viral online after he was caught on camera screaming at multiple people at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
The video, which took off on TikTok and spread to other social media platforms, shows the man shouting at an American Airlines ticket clerk during a flight delay.
"Hello everybody, American Airlines [expletive] us over," the man yelled into the crowd near the gate.
He then had a heated exchanged with another passenger who was in a wheelchair. WCNC Charlotte has since learned the man was upset about not being able to get home to see his dogs.
The man's husband attempted to calm him down, but his attempts were mostly unsuccessful. It's unclear if the couple made it on the flight or found another way home. Many Charlotte flights were affected by heavy rain and fog this week, making for a real travel nightmare for people heading home after the holidays.
