'The Bachelorette': JoJo's hometown dates ranked in ascending order of drama

Did you miss the last episode of The Bachelorette, the one where Jordan Rodgers opened up to JoJo Fletcher about his rocky relationship with his famous bro, Aaron? Check it out here. Also, if you can't get enough of Jordan, our esteemed colleagues at For The Win are grading his performance here.

Home sweet hometowns.

On Monday night, our Bachelorette saw where her remaining suitors — Chase, Jordan, Luke and Robby — grew up, and met their families.

We've ranked the hometowns in order of least to most dramatic, in honor of host Chris Harrison, of course.

1. Luke

Luke's hometown date in Burnet, Texas was extremely light on the dramz.

While wearing the boots Luke gave her, JoJo met the war vet's family and about 50 of his closest friends. That number might give you anxiety, but the horse ride at sunset to a sofa made of hay, and a candlelit path leading to a heart made of flowers would probably make up for it.

2. Chase

Chase and JoJo's relationship hit a peak in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

He was finally able to tell JoJo that he was falling in love with her.

It turns out it's hard for Chase to really be vulnerable because his parents had a pretty nasty split that involved lawsuits. And probably because "Crying is not our style" might be his family's slogan.

3. Jordan

California here we come. Chico, Calif. to be exact.

Both of Jordan's parents commented on how happy their son seemed to be.

"This could be your destiny," Jordan's mom, Darla, told him. "This could be your plan."

Yup, we love Darla. If there were roses for mothers we would strongly suggest JoJo give one to Mama D.

But before Jordan and JoJo said goodbye, their evening took a turn. "I think a part of me is still scared if it's you and I at the end of this, will you want it to be forever?" JoJo asked.

"There are so many moments when he tells me that he loves me that I want to just say, 'I love you too,'" she told the cameras. "But I stop myself because I know how badly it hurt me. Ben (Higgins) told me everything that I wanted to hear, but he broke my heart, and Jordan has told me everything that I want to hear. I just think I'm really scared."

Jordan seemed irritated that JoJo still had doubts.

"I'm gonna marry one person in my entire life, and I want that to be JoJo," he said in an interview. "But what else can you say other than, 'Let me prove it'?"

4. Robby

St. Augustine, Fla. was the setting for our choice for most dramatic hometown date.

JoJo told Robby she was worried he hadn't taken enough time for himself after his last breakup, and he said his ex would remain in his past. Which obviously means we'll hear about her again, right?

At Robby's parents' house, his mom told him that his ex's roomie was telling people he dumped his ex to go on the show.

This news really upset Robby and he wanted to chat with JoJo about it immediately. He assured JoJo there was no truth to what was being said.

"My relationship with Hope, who is my ex, was over nine months before it actually ended," he told JoJo. "We had a blow up fight, and she slapped me."

"The relationship is over, and I will never speak to her again. Period," Robby assured JoJo. Ultimately she chose to believe him.

Before the rose ceremony, JoJo said she was unsure of her decision, but thought that she needed to let Luke go. Then he told her he was in love with her, which inspired a mini-meltdown.

Before JoJo could make her selections for fantasy suite dates, three of the most heartbreaking words in the English language came across the screen: "To Be Continued."

Next week, we'll have two episodes of The Bachelorette. On Monday, JoJo will give out the roses (finally!), and on Tuesday we can look forward to The Men Tell All.
