CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg is investigating a shooting that happened in uptown Charlotte Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting happened at around 11:23 a.m. on East 8th Street.
Police said when they arrived on the scene they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police report the victim was transported by medic with non-life threatening injuries.
