CHARLOTTE, N.C. — March 5 is Super Tuesday and North Carolina voters who didn't vote early or by mail will be heading to the polls to cast their ballots.
As a reminder, in-person early voting in North Carolina's primary ends Saturday, March 2 at 3 p.m.
What time are polls open on Super Tuesday?
Polling places will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on primary election day. If you are in line to vote by the 7:30 p.m. deadline, you will still be able to cast your ballot.
*Voters should remember to bring their photo ID for in-person voting. Here is more information about what forms of ID are accepted
Where is my polling place?
When voting on Election Day, voters must go to their assigned polling place. This is different than when voting early, where voters can cast their ballot at any early voting site. North Carolina polling places can be found online by entering your residential address.
Voters in North Carolina can access voting resources and deadlines by visiting the North Carolina State Board of Elections website.
