Trump's four-stop blitz highlights the importance of North Carolina as a key battleground state in the 2024 Election.
The Republican presidential nominee spoke on the economy and the border while hurling insults at Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — With just days to go before the 2024 election, Donald Trump has scheduled four campaign stops across North Carolina, reinforcing the state’s importance as a battleground. The former president will kick off his final push in the state with rallies in Gastonia and Greensboro on Saturday, followed by events in Kinston on Sunday and a closing rally in Raleigh on Monday.

  • Saturday - Gastonia at 12 p.m.
  • Saturday - Greensboro at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday - Kinston at 2 p.m.
  • Monday - Raleigh at 10 a.m.

The concentrated schedule underscores North Carolina’s pivotal role, with its 16 electoral votes seen as critical for Trump’s path to victory. Trump narrowly won North Carolina in both the 2016 and 2020 elections.

His opponent Vice President Kamala Harris will also be in the state, visiting Charlotte on Saturday to rally Democratic supporters and advocate for policies around healthcare, education, and climate action.

North Carolina’s voters are closely divided, and both campaigns are aiming to sway undecided voters in the final days. Trump's appearances are designed to maximize his reach among North Carolina’s diverse communities, from urban centers to rural counties.

With Election Day fast approaching, Trump’s four-stop North Carolina blitz highlights the state’s significance in determining the 2024 election outcome. Trump and Harris were last in North Carolina on Wednesday, in Rocky Mount and Raleigh, respectively.
