CHARLOTTE, N.C. — President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will visit North Carolina later this month, the White House said.
Details of the March 26 visit haven't been released at this time, including what city they'll be in or if Biden and Harris will appear together during an event.
Biden won this month's North Carolina primary election, running virtually unopposed. Biden is the only mainstream Democratic candidate on the 2024 ballot as the seeks a second term in the White House.
He is expected to face former President Donald Trump in a rematch of the 2020 election. Trump is the only major contender left on the Republican ballot after Nikki Haley dropped out of the race following a poor showing on Super Tuesday. Trump easily won primaries in the Carolinas and is well on his way to securing the GOP nomination.
