RALEIGH, N.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to come to Raleigh for a campaign visit next week and she’s expected to bring her running mate with her.
WRAL News has confirmed from a campaign official on Tuesday that Harris will stop in Raleigh for a campaign rally, where she will bring her presumptive running mate.
The New York Times earlier Tuesday reported that Harris would stop in North Carolina, along with Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Details about the Raleigh visit were not immediately available. Harris became the favorite to secure the Democratic nomination after President Joe Biden announced he was dropping out of the race on July 21.
