CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Republican congressional candidate Dan Bishop received an official endorsement from President Donald Trump in his race for North Carolina's 9th District Thursday.
Trump tweeted that Bishop has his "complete and total endorsement," touting Bishop's record on crime and pro-military position.
Bishop won this week's Republican primary over nine other contenders. He will square off with Democrat Dan McCready in September's general election.
