'There is no place for hate' | Authorities investigating signs linked to hate group hung in Durham

Surveillance footage captured a man holding a banner near the American Tobacco Campus.

DURHAM, N.C. — A sign linked to a hate group was removed Saturday from the American Tobacco Campus (ATC) in Durham.

A photo showed the sign, which read "strong families, strong nations" with a link to a Patriot Front website. A spokesperson from ATC said they were alerted about the sign and removed it.

Patriot Front is classified by several groups, including the Southern Poverty Law Center, as a White nationalist hate group.

As the day progressed, more banners were noticed by people traveling along I-40. 

Surveillance footage captured a man holding a banner near the American Tobacco Campus. Moments later, the same banner was spotted hanging from the South Parking Garage.
