Salisbury police investigating armed robbery at the Fish Arcade Games

Employees in the shopping center said the place was lit up with blue lights, scaring both employees and customers.

SALISBURY, N.C. — Salisbury police are looking for three men suspected of robbing the Fish Arcade Games in Salisbury.

It happened off Statesville Road around 5:45 p.m. Sunday; police said at least one of men pulled out a gun.

"We're very concerned about any violent crimes, particularly when they're at a business and people are trying to enjoy themselves,” said Salisbury Police Sergeant Travis Shulenburger.

Police posted photos of people at the Fish Arcade Games that they want to speak to in their investigation. Police believe some of them may be responsible for the robbery Sunday night, but they still want to talk with everyone who is pictured.

Employees in the shopping center said the place was lit up with blue lights earlier this evening, scaring not only the people who work here but also customers.

"All I [saw] was a cop pull up, and he drew his gun, told me to get inside, to keep everybody inside that all my employees and my customers inside," said Destini Hamilton, a manager at Little Caesars.

Hamilton said police surrounded the Fish Arcade Games Sunday evening, causing her to act quickly to keep the people around her safe.

"Trying to think of everything I could do safety-wise and went and locked our back door and kept an eye out, trying to keep all the customers calm and everything," Hamilton said.

Allison Williams was working next door at Dairy Queen when police arrived.

"I didn't want myself getting hurt," Williams said. "I didn't want the customers in the building getting hurt. I didn't want my coworker getting hurt so I immediately just thought, I need to lock the door."

According to people who work in the shopping center, they were locked down for about 15 minutes.
