SHELBY, N.C. — A homicide was under investigation Thursday near a school in Cleveland County.
It happened at a home on Melrose Dr. just south of Dekalb St., one a block away from Shelby Middle School.
The victim was taken to the hospital and later died.
There were no details released on a suspect description or arrest at the time of the incident.
