ROCK HILL, S.C. — The South Carolina High School League has delayed the beginning of the high school football season again.
At an executive session on Wednesday, the SCHSL approved a plan that would push the first games to Sept. 25.
The first practices are now delayed until Sept. 8.
In a previous announcement, the league had practices beginning Aug. 17 and games beginning Sept. 11.
Currently in North Carolina, practices are set to begin Sept. 1, with no set dates for the first football games this fall.
