CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- If you're headed to a high school football game this season, prepare to pay more for tickets to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools games.
CMS says it will charge an extra $1 to get in this year, increasing the ticket price from $5 to $6.
School officials say the extra $1 will generate nearly $250,000.
