CMS reschedules football games due to Tropical Storm Michael

CMS said home football games scheduled this Friday will be moved to either Monday, October 15, or an open date in November

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With Tropical Storm Michael's damage leaving several schools without power and another day of canceled classes, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools announced there will be no high school football games on Friday, October 12.

CMS said games scheduled for October 12 will be moved to Monday, October 15 or an open date in November. Away games scheduled for Friday could be rescheduled for Saturday, Monday or any other mutually agreeable date.

CMS also canceled Friday's classes due to power outages and damage caused by Tropical Storm Michael.
