CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A high school sported the color orange on Monday night, to show their support for a senior lacrosse player battling a rare form of cancer.
Two year's ago Noah Hays was diagnosed with stage four Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare aggressive cancer that is only diagnosed about 350 times a year in the United States.
After more than a year of treatment, there were no more signs of the disease.
Sadly on Friday, Noah tweeted out that his cancer has returned.
Unsure how long he will be able to play before treatment the Providence High School community once again rallied around him as the team took on Weddington High School.
The team has begun to use the social media hashtag, #NoahStrong in support of their teammate.
