ROCK HILL, S.C. — He's one of the best players in Northwestern High School's history and certainly might have the best name.
On Wednesday, Turbo Richard signed to play football at Boston College.
Richard is the Trojans' all-time leader in rushing yards with over 5,000 yards from scrimmage to go along with fifty touchdowns.
"It all started at a young age. I started working out and training and doing all the things necessary to get where I am now. It all paid off," Richard said. "And I've got to thank my parents for sacrificing for me."
Eagles coach Jeff Hafley said his staff started the recruiting process with Richard early.
"[He's] really good with the ball in his hands," Hafley said. "We were on him early and he stuck with us."
