CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time in 2015, lightning and thunderstorms affected high school football action in the Carolinas.

Many games in the area were either postponed or outright cancelled as a result of storms rolling through the area early Friday evening. With several games reaching halftime or later before weather reached the stadium, several schools chose to wait it out to finish on Friday night, rather than rescheduling.

Here is an up-to-date list of rescheduled games.

Jay M. Robinson at Hickory Ridge – Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Newton-Conover at Hickory – N-C leads 8-7, game will resume Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Salisbury at Carson-China Grove – Monday at 7:00 p.m.
