CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The NBA draft is just under two weeks away, and on Saturday, the Hornets hosted a familiar player in the Charlotte area.
Former Hough High School and North Carolina forward Luke Maye worked out for the Hornets on Saturday.

Maye averaged a double-double his senior seasons but says he wants to show NBA teams some of the intangibles he could bring to their teams.
“The ACC I think is the best league in college and to have double-digit rebounds back to back years and also being able to bring a high IQ of the way I play the game, I think is just some of the best in the country and I have to continue to get better in areas that some teams don’t feel that I’m as strong,” Maye said after the workout.
The Hornets will have the 12th pick in the draft on June 20th.
