Hornets searching for jersey patch sponsor after MrBeast's Feastables departure

If the Hornets land a new sponsor ahead of the new season, it would be the third year in a row Charlotte has a different brand on its jerseys.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Hornets could soon sport a new sponsor on their jerseys after YouTube star MrBeast's Feastables left the team following just one season.

A team source confirmed on Tuesday that the team was no longer partnered with Feastables, the snack-food brand. Feastables appeared on the top left area of Hornets jerseys for the 2023-24 season.

If the Hornets land a new sponsor ahead of the new season, it would be the third year in a row Charlotte has a different brand on its jerseys. Charlotte-based loan marketplace LendingTree sponsored the Hornets from the 2017-18 season to the 2022-23 season.

The NBA has allowed teams to carry small sponsors on their jerseys since 2017.

When Feastables was announced as the team's sponsor in October 2023, team executives described the move as "groundbreaking" and greatly praised the newfound partnership.

However, Feastables left the team after just one season and the Hornets are now left searching for a new sponsor to latch onto the team's jerseys for what leaders hope is a new era of Charlotte basketball.

Charlotte won all three Summer League games in the California Classic earlier this month. The Hornets are 1-0 in the ongoing Las Vegas Summer League games. A jersey patch is noticeably missing from the Hornets' jerseys.
