Bradley and Nikki Bozeman preparing for annual Halloween Costume & Casino Night

The Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation Halloween Costume Party and Casino Night will raise funds for their SYNC Snack Boxes initiative.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Panthers center Bradley Bozeman and his wife Nikki have been using their platform to give back since their college days at Alabama. Now that they are in Charlotte, they're focused on leaving a positive impact in the city they now call home.

Next up for the Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation is the annual Halloween Costume & Casino Night.

Bradley Bozeman joined WCNC Charlotte's Ashley Stroehlein to discuss the event, which will be held on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at Fahrenheit in Uptown Charlotte.

Q: What can people expect this year that are that are coming out to the foundation's annual Halloween Party?

A:  We'll have a Casino Night along with our Halloween party. So there'll be great prizes there to be able to bid on and to bet on. With your ticket, you get a $50 buy-in and then those tickets correlate into raffle tickets. So every $10 correlates to one so there's a Panthers Suite tickets, there's Morgan Wallen tickets, there's a lot of great prizes. All of the money goes back to the Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation for our SYNC Snack Boxes.

Q: What would be the ultimate goal from from this event?

A: Ultimate goal is just to raise as much money as possible. 100% it goes back to the foundation and snack boxes initiative for kids. Nothing goes back to us and nothing goes to paying anyone. Everyone works pro bono, Nikki does everything pro bono. So everything goes back to these kids. We've been able to expand into Mint Hill and with Second Harvest kids cafes. It's been such an amazing, amazing thing to be able to start to expanding more and more. Hopefully we can just continue to to broaden that out a bit more.

Q: What advice would you give people who are attending when it comes to putting together their costume and the costume competition?

A: The more outgoing, the better, just go all out -- have fun with it. Who cares what you look like. It's going to be amazing so just come in with some confidence. It might be a dance competition this year again or it might be just pure costume so you just never know you'll have to be prepared.
