The NFL announced the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl and the Carolina Panthers will have two familiar faces representing the team.
Linebacker Luke Kuechly was named to his sixth straight Pro Bowl. His sixth appearance in the game is the most by any Panthers player ever, breaking a tie with several franchise cornerstones, including Thomas Davis, Julius Peppers and Steve Smith.
According to Panthers.com, Kuechly leads the NFL in tackles with 929 since his rookie season in 2012. He's also tops among linebackers in interceptions and takeaways since joining the NFL. So far this year, Kuechly's racked up 124 tackles, two sacks and one interception.
Turner has also been a regular in the Pro Bowl since being drafted in the third round of the 2014 draft. He's been a standout on an offensive line that's helped Christian McCaffrey set a new franchise record for scrimmage yards in a single season, as well as the NFL's best rushing average at 5.32 yards per carry in 2018.
Speaking of McCaffrey, the second-year sensation was snubbed of his first Pro Bowl invite, due in large part to a stacked NFC roster that includes Todd Gurley, Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott.
