Panthers invite fans to Bank of America Stadium with annual Back Together event

An open practice session is more than a chance to get autographs and see the team in action for dedicated fans.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fans in the Queen City got a chance to see Panthers football in action Saturday as part of the team's annual Back Together event. The open practice was held at Bank of America Stadium, bringing all sorts of excitement to fans. 

Rick Stoup attended the event with his son, optimistic about the coming football season.

“It's great to see the team and we're rooting for them this year," he said.

Panthers fans and families got a chance to get autographs, meet current and former players, and catch the team in action. Jacob Golden is a lifelong fan who enjoyed the festivities with a focus on seeing how the Panthers will play.

“Just to see how the team's gonna do. How the young players are gonna do, new receivers, how the new players are going to do this season," he said.

The action on the field brought families together in the stands. The Martin family came with their two young daughters Kenzy and Kelsy. Their father was excited to bring the whole family out.

This year's event gave Rick and his son Jack a chance for the two to bond. 

“Just to bring your son out and make them special moments with your kids and in this case with my son," he added.

It's a special moment that’s a win for the Queen City. 

“Sports is the one thing that can bring all kinds of different personalities individualities or different backgrounds together because we can unite on one thing," said one fan.
