CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have parted ways with a team executive who faces domestic violence charges in Arizona.
Adrian Wilson faces three domestic violence-related charges in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to court records. Wilson was the Panthers vice president of player personnel.
"Adrian Wilson will not continue in his position as Vice President of Player Personnel for the Carolina Panthers," the team said in a statement. "Consistent with our organizational policy on employee matters, we will have no further comment."
Specifically, Wilson is charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and damaging property. The exact details of Wilson's arrest are not known at this time.
Wilson's charges in court were filed on June 1, however, the day that the incident occurred is not immediately clear. Wilson was released on bond on June 1. Wilson is next scheduled in court on July 16.
Wilson played 12 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals as a safety. He worked in the Cardinals front office after his playing career before starting his role with the Panthers in 2023.
