CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton was involved in a crash in southeast Charlotte and is being evaluated by the team's medical staff.
The crash happened on Sardis Road near Providence Road, according to a Panthers spokesperson. Officials have not said how many cars were involved or how serious the crash was.
Dalton was traveling with his family. Nobody was taken to the hospital. Medic told WCNC Charlotte it did not respond to the crash.
A Panthers spokesperson said that Dalton is being further evaluated by the team's medical personnel.

Dalton has started five games for the Panthers this year after taking over for Bryce Young. The Panthers have a 1-6 record this season and play the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
