CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers will host the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium, and while most eyes will be on the game, many fans want to know if Taylor Swift will be there.
Swift, who has been in a relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for a little over a year now, has been a fixture at Kansas City games since their relationship went public. However, Swift hasn't made it to every game this year due to schedule conflicts with her record-breaking "Eras Tour."
Swift has attended all five of the Chiefs' home games at Arrowhead Stadium this year but hasn't appeared at any road games, including last weekend's game at Buffalo. Her absence was notable after she and Jason Kelce, Travis' brother and podcast co-host, appeared to have the time of his life going shirtless and chugging beers while trash-talking the Bills Mafia.
There have been a few reports Swift is being careful about her security on the road, with the New York Post reporting in October Swift feels at ease with the Arrowhead Stadium staff. She also had a major security scare in Austria and was forced to cancel shows after authorities foiled a reported terror attack.
Should Swift want to make her first Chiefs road trip of the season, there's an opportunity. Sunday, Nov. 24 is an off day after she wraps up three scheduled performances in Toronto from Nov. 21 through 23. And a flight from Toronto to Charlotte is much easier than her epic whirlwind trip from Tokyo to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. Her next scheduled performance isn't until Dec. 6 in Vancouver.
After a rumored cameo at the inaugural Lovin' Life Music Fest didn't come to fruition, a Sunday afternoon in Charlotte would delight many Queen City Swifties, even if it means she's in town to root for the visiting team.
