WAXHAW, N.C. — Several North Carolina teenagers from the greater Charlotte area are headed to Indianapolis for the Olympic Trials for swimming.
Jordan Willis, a rising senior at Marvin Ridge High School, is among those competing in two breaststroke races: One on Saturday, and one on Tuesday.
Kayle Hamblin, Eliza Wallace, Aubrey Hull, Michael Chadwick, Dillon Wright and Norvy Clontz, are Mecklenburg Swim Association swimmers headed to the trials.
Elsewhere around North Carolina, Wilmington native Sean Setzer is competing in the freestyle and breaststroke races. He will swim in his first race on Tuesday as well.
