RIO - SwimMAC's Cammile Adams advanced to the finals in Rio in the women's 200m butterfly Tuesday.
Adams placed fourth in her heat with a time of 2:07:22.
Adams will swim in the finals Wednesday night at 9:54 p.m.
Originally from Cypress, Texas, Adams graduated from Texas A&M University. She trains in Charlotte under SwimMAC.
Adams finished fifth in the 200m fly at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. She was selected by the 47 members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team as one of six team captains.
