Charleston, SC (WLTX) -- A USC alumnus who was paralyzed from the waist down following a car crash finished the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston on Saturday.
Adam Gorlitsky completed the run using a re-walk exoskeleton, technology that costs more than $80,000.
He completed the race in seven hours, and became the first man in South Carolina to use the re-walk exoskeleton to finish the race.
Gorlitsky created a non-profit called "I Got Legs," which was created to help "bridge the gap in what it means to be disabled and able bodied."
