CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Premier Lacrosse League has named Charlotte as a home city location for the “Chaos” for the 2024 season.
The announcement was made on ESPN’s SportsCenter Tuesday afternoon by league co-founder Paul Rabil. The league operates under a touring model, visiting different cities every weekend, and has spent the last few seasons playing in Charlotte in front of enthusiastic crowds at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
PLL will still use the touring model in 2024, but the Carolina Chaos will operate as Charlotte’s home team, and play a doubleheader when the league visits the city again.
The team and league will also make an investment with youth lacrosse programs in the area.
