Charlotte FC raising season ticket prices for 2025 season

The ticket price hike matches the average MLS increase for 2025.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte FC fans will have to pay more in 2025 to watch their team at Bank of America Stadium.

Team officials confirmed to WCNC Charlotte that prices will rise 6.1% for season ticket holders in 2025. The increase matches the MLS average ticket price increase.

Season tickets for the supporters section will go up $36 for the season, around $2 per match. MLS teams play 17 home regular season matches and at least one in-season tournament home match.

The 2025 season will be the fourth for Charlotte FC. The team instantly became one of the most popular MLS teams and finished second in attendance in 2022 and 2023 with over 35,000 fans averaged at each home game. Charlotte once again is averaging around 30,000 fans per game in the 2024 season.

Ticket price increases are hitting all three of Charlotte's major league teams. Tickets for the Carolina Panthers are up around 4-7% this season and Charlotte Hornets tickets are up by as much as 15% this year. These increases are in spite of the fact that the Panthers and Hornets have greatly struggled on the field and court.

Charlotte FC qualified for the play-in game in 2023 and currently sits in playoff position in 2024. The team has taken great strides to become a perennial MLS team.

The Panthers and Charlotte FC are owned by Tepper Sports & Entertainment, which is managed by David Tepper. Both teams play at Bank of America Stadium.
