COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Gamecock's 2025 football schedule has been released, as they look to build on one of the most successful seasons in recent memory.

The SEC released all league schedules Wednesday night. While teams will be playing the same SEC opponents they did in 2024, they will be playing them at the opposite location. Also unknown until now has been when the teams will play each other.

The Gamecocks begin the season on August 31 in Atlanta for one of the two Aflac Kickoff Games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to take on Virginia Tech.  It's a game with added significance to USC Head Coach Shane Beamer, as his father was the legendary coach of the Hokies for decades and Shane essentially grew up in that program.

On September 6 they're back at home in Columbia to play South Carolina State. The last time those two teams met was in 2002, when USC won 50-22.

On September 13, they open SEC play by hosting Vanderbilt. USC beat the Commodores 28-7 this past season. They'll next play at Missouri, and then host Kentucky the subsequent week, before an open date on October 4.

On October 11, they'll travel to the Louisiana version of "Death Valley" to try and avenge this season's heartbreaking (and controversial) loss to LSU. The following week, Oklahoma comes to Columbia for the first time ever, and then the Gamecocks renew hostilities with Alabama on October 25.

November begins with the Gamecocks going to Oxford to take on Ole Miss, and then another open date. They'll then play Texas A&M and Coastal Carolina before hosting Clemson.
