Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry apparently has a heart as great as his basketball skills.
A recently posted YouTube video conveyed how the Charlotte native comforted a grieving family after their 16-year-old daughter died.
Kimberly Nuestro collapsed in the middle of a basketball game and later died, multiple media outlets reported. Nuestro was reportedly a huge Curry fan, even sharing the same jersey number 30.
Nuestro's father got Curry's attention after his effort to have Curry to sign a pair of his daughter's sneakers went viral with the hashtag #signforKim.
According to the high school's newspaper, Nuestro's father, Ramir, brought a pair of shoes to the Warriors training facility where Curry signed them and agreed to an interview with the school's newspaper.
"I wish I could have met (Kimberly) before she passed," Curry said. "But this is a small token for her family, to know that there's a lot of people thinking about them and to hopefully honor her life with those shoes."
