CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — A person is dead after a wreck in Chesterfield County Friday evening.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a person was driving 1988 Mercury sedan south on Airport Road near Eddie Horton Road when it veered off the roadway and overturned multiple times at 6:27 p.m.
The wreck, which happened south of Pageland, killed the driver who hasn't been identified at this time.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
