CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A crash caused major backups on outbound Independence Boulevard on Wednesday.
The crash happened along Independence Boulevard, near the interchange with Wendover Road, around 2:30 p.m. At least two vehicles were involved in the crash. Medic said no one was taken to the hospital after the crash, and Duke Energy reported no power outages in the area.
Traffic was backed up on outbound Independence Boulevard after the crash. Roads have since been reopened in the area, according to DriveNC.
