I-77S near Mooresville reopened after crash

The road was back open by 7 p.m., according to NCDOT.

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A crash at mile marker 38.5 caused traffic delays for several hours, according to the North Carolina Dept of Transportation.

A lane was closed for three miles after Exit 42, which is for U.S. Highway 21.

NCDOT said the crash and road closure started around 3:51 p.m. and the closure lasted until around 7 p.m.
